On a trip to Washington D.C. to promote Veteran’s Suicide Awareness, Marcus T. Reum, principle of Mahto Enterprises, LLC and Patrick Seifert of Twenty22Many Olympia, conceived a plan to bring Veteran’s suicide awareness to the forefront of America’s consciousness.
They vowed that they would endeavor to have July 22nd declared “National Veteran’s Suicide Awareness Day.” They picked the month of July, because it is the same month in which our Veterans won America’s independence. In one grand voice, we beseech your support, to voice a chorus so deafening that they can’t help but hear us.
On July 22nd, in solemn memory of the twenty-two Veterans who take their lives each day, join with us and help us reach our goal of 100,000 signatures on a petition to the White House. Once we reach this goal, it will be given to the President for consideration. This is a chance for all Americans to show, regardless of the differences of opinion we sometimes share as Americans, when it comes to our Veterans we will always fight, soldier and civilian alike, to honor them!
Please sign the July 22 Review Petition, and take your stand for our Veterans!
